CAPE CANAVERAL, FL - SecureXperts and Bosch Security Systems, Inc., are pleased to announce their breakthrough technology project conducted in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service has been selected as the winner of the 2014 Security Innovation Award in the Agency Security vertical market sector. The Security Innovation Awards are hosted by Security Technology Executive in coordination with Secured Cities and the Security Industry Association. The technology met stringent U.S. federal cybersecurity guidelines in the deployment of high definition IP video surveillance cameras. Darnell Washington, SecureXperts President and Chief Executive Officer, states, “With the staggering number of data breaches and the exploitation of edge devices connected to critical infrastructure, the worldwide state of cybersecurity is at its worst point ever in history.” This solution represents the next generation of technology that can be applied to the physical security, access control, and intrusion detection markets and offers the highest level of confidence that these devices won’t be a target of exploitation. Dan Reese, Director of Vertical Market Applications for Bosch Security Systems states, “Bosch stands out as a leader in developing breakthrough technologies for the security market. We clearly recognize our responsibility to protect our customers and end users with innovations in cybersecurity across video and other physical security platforms.”
